Foot print Halloween prints

I love everything Halloween. And making crafts is no exception.

A fun craft that is easy and doesn't take a lot of time is to make foot print posters! The items you will need for this are:

  • construction paper (canvas can also be a great option. Check out these from Michaels)

  • acrylic paint

  • little feet

There are a few ways to tackle this project.

  1. Use a roller paint brush and roll the acrylic paint onto baby's feet

  2. Pour some paint into a paper plate or bowl and dip baby's feet into the paint.

Once little feet have been sufficiently covered in paint, firmly press the foot onto the construction paper or canvas. Note- you don't want too much paint or else it will ooze out when you press onto the paper. There should be just enough to not see skin through the paint but not so much it's dripping off.

I have a knack for making a mess, so I set up baby girl's bouncy chair outside and put her in it. This gave me free hands to hold her feet still and make pretty feet prints. She was happy playing with the toys on the table top and I was able to manipulate her feet how I wanted.

Here are some examples of ideas you can make!
